Saturday, April 17th The Special Olympics/HUGS Presents the 2010 Introductory Golf Clinic at TPC Sawgrass

TPC Sawgrass will be hosting a fun and instructional golf clinic in partnership with Help Us Golf, Inc. (HUGS) and the Special Olympics of Area 5.  This clinic is open to all who are interested in participating.  Act fast because registration ends on April 12th.

Geneology Class in May 2010 (Free)

Jacksonville Geneological Society, Inc. (JGS) will be holding a five-session Geneology Class, featuring research in the U.S.  It will be held from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm in Room B of the Webb Wesconnett Branch Library, 6887 103rd Street, Jacksonville, FL 32210 on the following dates:

Saturdays: May 22 & 29 and June 5, 12, and 19, 2010

The class is for the beginner and the experienced researcher looking for a refresher course.  Subjects include: Back to Basics; Research Documentation; Sources-What are they?; Dates, Places & Relationships; Use of Vital, Court, and Church Records; Record Keeping; and much more.  Certificates of Completion will be given to those persons who attend at least four of the five class dates.
