Google UK Autism and you will see a plethora of sites from Great Britain. One thing I noticed is that the UK not only has many Autism advocates, but it seems they have integrated the Autism community in their society, something that we have not achieved or have even come close to achieving.
As you take a virtual trip across the pond (via Googling), you will see many ideas of how the quality of life for our beautiful people can improve as children and as they grow into adults.
Like it or not, it is THEIR world and we are living in it.
